John O Shoaf, 65 former Veedersburg business man died Tuesday afternoon at his home in Danville Ill it was learned here today. Death followed a stroke of paralysis which he suffered Sunday. Mr. Shoaf was born Jan 11, 1879 near Wallace the son of Henry and Marietta Beaver Shoaf. He was married November 30, 1907 to Mary Vickery who survived together with the mother, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. James Redenbaugh of Kingman. Mr. Shoaf was in bussiness in Veedersburg for a number of years, later operating a grocery store in Danville until his health failed. He had resided in Danville since 1930 the family home being at 2624 Cannon St. The body was brought to the Crumley & Sons Mortuary in Covington. The funeral is at 2 o'clock Friday aft at Centennial Church east of Yeddo. Rev John Servies of Crawfordsville will officiate. Burial will be in the cemetery adjacent to the church. - thanks so much to "S"
