Everett Shoaf, Veedersburg, resident for many years died Sunday morning (31 Oct 1948) at the age of 66 at his home after an illness of over 2 months. He was born in Parke County July 12, 1882, theson of Jacob and Martha Wilson Shoaf and was married to Miss Cecil Kerr of Veedersburg. He was a member of the EUB Church. He is survived by the widow; two sons, Norman and Berl of Veedersburg; two duaghters, Mrs. Geneva Rutledge of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Josephine Mitchell of Veedersburg; two sisters, Edna Oblinger of Veedersburg and Mrs. Belle Hack of Cayuga; a half brother, Claude Clark of Yeddo; a half sister Mrs. Mary Hawkins of Veedersburg; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at the Fishero Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Todd and Rev. William Buesching, officiating Burial was in Bonebrake Cemetery.
