SHOAF, Iva Hole

Iva Bernice Shoaf, 80, of 401 Ben Hur Drive, died Friday evening in Ben Hur Nursing Home after a long illness. Mrs. Shoaf had been a piano teacher and a member of First Christian Church and Music Club. She was born Aug. 31, 1899, in Montgomery County, a daughter of Oscar and Grace Binford Hole. On Feb. 1, 1922, she married Russell O. Shoaf. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1978. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Ralph and Willard, and a sister, Maude. Surviving are a daughter, Betty Shoaf of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Fulwider of Boca Raton, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Burkhart Funeral Home. The Rev. Ralph Saunders will officiate. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Sunday. - jlr
