DANVILLE, Ill. — Delbert Wayne Shoaf, 65, 1219 Kohen Drive, Danville, Ill., formerly of Kingman, died at 5:05 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000 at his residence. He was born April 19, 1935 in Parke Co., the son of Ernest Shoaf and Merle (Brook) Shoaf. His first marriage was to Louise (Fisher) Shoaf, June 28, 1958 in Kingman. She preceded in death Nov. 17, 1993. His second marriage was to Alice (Ingram) Shoaf, Oct. 28, 1999 in Cayuga. She survives. He was a 1953 graduate of Kingman High School. He served in the U. S. Army in the Korean War. He worked at Bohn Aluminum, Danville, Ill., retiring April 1, 1995 after 32 years. He was a member of the Kingman American Legion. Survivors, besides the wife, include: two sons, Bruce Shoaf and Ryan Shoaf, both of Kingman; a daughter, Stacey Lambert, Kingman; a son-in-law, Paul Lambert, Kingman; two brothers, Ray (Ruth Ann) Shoaf, Kingman and Owen (Alexandria) Shoaf, St. Petersburg, Fla.; two step sons, Edmund S. (Angie) Smith, Rogers, Ark. and Roy Smith, Louisanna; three step daughters, Pam Shields, Florida, Tina (Mike) Williams, Rogers, Ark. and Jeri (Pete) Hanson, Covington; a granddaughter, Whitney Shoaf, Kingman; a grandson, Micheal Shoaf, Kingman; 11 step grandchildren; and 12 step great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Loren Shoaf and his parents. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hall-Woodrow Funeral Home, Kingman, with Kenny Majors officiating. Burial was in Fraternal Cemetery, Kingman. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and Diabetes Association. – jlr
