SHIDLER, Lucille Cartwright

Veedersburg -- Mrs. Lucille Shidler 63 lifelong resident of this place, died at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill at 9 a.m. Monday. She had been a patient there a week and had been in failing health a year. Born June 26, 1899 in Fountain County, she was the daughter of Harry and Laura Redenbaugh Cartwright. She was married July 30, 1919 to Fred Shidler who died Feb 22, 1957. Mrs. Shidler was a member of the Sterling Christian Church, Valetta Chapter Order of Eastern Star and Centennial Cemetery League. The survivors include her mother, Mrs. Laura Carwright (sic) of Veedersburg; a son, Dale Shidler of Phoenix, Ariz; five grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Gretchen Engstram of Denuba, Calif. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Friends may call at the Fishero Funeral Home.
