Lebanon, Ind – Graveside services for Harley A. Sherrill, 90, Lebanon will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Oak Hill Cemetery with calling after 4 pm. Today in Myers Mortuary here. He died Monday in a local nursing home. He had been employed by Stewart-Warner Alemite Sales Co for many years and then by Adler’s Apparel Shop in Lebanon retiring in 1970.  He was a WWI Army veteran and member of Assembly of God Church.  He was born in Parke County and lived in Lebanon most of his life.  He was the widower of Vashti H. Dean Sherrill.  Survivors: daughter Freda Burke; sons, Harley and Kenneth Sherrill; sisters, Dorothy Dunn, Ann Lipp; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; two step great grandchildren.
Note: some sources say he was born in Fountain.
