CAYUGA, Ind. (CNS) — Herschel Sherman, 68, of Cayuga died yesterday afternoon (Feb. 24, 1970) in Lake View Memorial Hospital in Danville, Ill. Born Jan. 14, 1902, a Humerick, Ill., he was the son of William and Gertie Peterson Sherman. He was married to Ruth Murdock, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Norman of Covington; five daughters, Mrs. Wilma Jean Houeston of Westville, Ill., Mrs. June Crowder of Covington, Mrs. Margaret Williamson of Williamsport, Mrs. Dorothy Myers and Mrs. Norma Myers, both of Cayuga; 23 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Friday at the Watson Funeral Home with the Rev. Aubrey Souder officiating. Burial will be in Thomas Cemetery. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. -- typed by Walt W
