Attica, Ind. (CNS)— Arthur R. Sheridan, 75, of Attica Route 1, died at 6 a.m. today (Aug. 23, 1967) at the Clinton County Hospital in Frankfort. He was admitted to the hospital at 9:20 p.m. yesterday after suffering an apparent heart attack while watching the horse show at the Clinton County Fair at Frankfort. His foster son, James Hoover of Attica, was entered in the show. Mr. Sheridan was born June 11, 1892, at Attica, son of James and Ellen Herfferman Sheridan. He resided his entire life in the Attica area. He married Avis Martin Nov. 9, 1911, in St. Joseph, Mich. A graduate of Attica High, he was a stock buyer and farmer with the Union Stockyards at Chicago, Ill., for 35 years. He retired in 1952. He is survived by the widow; the foster son; and a sister, Mrs. Frank Maloney of Decatur, Ill. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the DeSutter Chapel with the Rev. Arthur Schenck officiating. Burial will be in Green Bay cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday. --typed by Walt W
