Dorothy M. Sheppard,
86, of Danville, Ill., passed away at 7:06 a.m. Monday, : May 15, 2000, at
Provena United Samaritan Medical Center, Logan campus. She was born May 31,
1913, in Veedersburg, the daughter of Edward and Mattie Drolinger Janeway. She
married Russell Sheppard on December 21, 1940, in Covington. They were married
59 years. He survives. Also surviving are: one daughter, Donna (David) Elfers
of DeSoto, Texas; two grandchildren, Craig (Louise) Fulk of Dallas, Texas and
Brian Fulk of Midlothian, Texas; one great-grandson, David Alan Fulk of Dallas,
Texas; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her
parents, two brothers and two sisters. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed life and
spending time with her family. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, May
18, 2000, at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Charles Allen
officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. – jlr
