Mrs. Minnie May Shelley, 77 a native of the Wallace community died at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday at her home, two miles north of Wallace. She had been in failing health one year.
Born Aug 8, 1875, Mrs. Shelley was the daughter of Alfred M. and Sarah Elizabeth Miller Livengood. She was married twice, first to John Young in 1893. She married Everett Shelly in 1938. She was a member of the Christian Church. She also was a former resident of Crawfordsville.
Surviving are the husband, an adopted daughter, Mrs. LaVerna Meade, Covington; a brother, Oscar Livengood, Wallace; a granddaughter and three nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm. Friday from Proffitt & Sons Funeral Home with burial at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Rev. John R. Servies will be the officiating minister. Friends may call at the funeral home. - kz
