SHELBY, Oliver

Oliver Shelby, a leading citizen of Fountain County, died Monday at 3 a.m. from the result of a stroke of paralysis received Sunday morning. Mr. Shelby owned about thirteen hundred acres of fine land near Covington and had been a commissioner of Fountain County for many years. He was an uncle of Mrs. T. L. Stilwell, of this city.

Oliver Shelby of Covington suffered an attack of paralysis at 11 o’clock Sunday and died at 3 o’clock this morning. He was one of Fountain County’s most prominent citizens and served as county commissioner for years. He was an uncle of Mrs TL Stilwell of this city.
