VEEDERSBURG — Albert (Jack) Sheets, 71, a carpenter most of his life, died Monday morning in his home at Veedersburg. He had been in failing health the past year and seriously ill the past month. Born April 12, 1886, at Rossville, Ind., Mr. Sheets was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Sheets. He married Pearl McKinzie June 19, 1915. Survivors include the widow; four sons, George Sheets of Danville, Ill., James Sheets of Veedersburg, and Leo and Kenneth Sheets, both at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Ella Charles of Crown Point and Mrs. Stella Clawson of Veedersburg. He was preceded in death by a son, William Sheets, who was killed while in service in World War II. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Fishero Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rockfield Cemetery. Rev. Samuel Pritchard will be the officiating minister. --typed by Walt W
