Attica – Edwina Guy Sheehan, 75 of 912 S. Brady St died Thursday in St. Anthony’s Healthcare Center in Lafayette following a long illness. She was born in 1915 in Richland Township. She attended Rob Roy School and graduated from Attica HS in 1932. Her marriage was to Joseph T. Sheehan. They lived in St. Louis, Mo several years. Mr. Sheehan preceded her in death. She is survived by twin brothers, John Guy of Jackson, Mich and James Guy of Louisville, Ky.  Visitation at Maus Funeral Home, Attica 5-9 p.m. Sunday with Wake service at 5 p.m.  Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Monday, St. Francis Xavier Church, Attica, Rev. Duane Craycraft officiating. Interment Newtown Cemetery. Surviving besides the husband are a daughter,  Mrs. Vera Gott of Washington DC; a son, Vernon of here; four sisters, Mrs. Lulu Nichols and Mrs. Olive Beckelhamer both of Russellville; Mrs. Belle Ryan of Fillmore and Mrs. Elizabeth Hazel of Monon; and five brothers, Omer and Thomas, both of Fincastle; William of Chicago; Benjamin of Covington, KY and James C. of here. The body was removed to the Bradshaw Funeral Home where friends may call Monday afternoon and evening, Funeral services will be held from the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with burial in Rest Haven Cemetery. The Rev. George A. Ritchey of Lafayette will officiate. - kbz
