Mrs. Ruby Sheaks, age 73, a native and former resident of Covington, died at 7:35 p.m. Monday, April 27, at her home in North Miami, Fla. She had been ill since January. Mrs. Sheaks was born in Covington June 19, 1890, the daughter of Frank and Ida Miles Hull. She was married to Richard Sheaks in 1910 and he preceded her in death in March 1946. She was a resident of Covington and Danville, Ill., until 1951 when she went to Florida to make her home with her sons. She was a member of the Covington Methodist Church. Surviving are: two sons, Frank and Joseph Sheaks, both of North Miami; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The body will arrive at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington early Friday morning where friends may call after noon Friday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. August Stork will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. --typed by Walt W
