SHEAKS, Orlea "Dick"

Orlea (Dick) Sheaks, ill a year, a former furniture dealer
of Covington and retired railroader, died at 7:10 a.m. Monday (17
April) at his home on Franklin Street in Danveille, Ill at the age of 63 years.
Mr. Sheaks was born May 31, 1882 in Greenup, a son of Elzie and Tillie
Spencer Sheakss. He had been a resident of Danville 9 years.
Surviving are the widow, Ruby; two sons, Frank A. Sheaks, Danville
and Joseph L. Sheaks, Rockford; his mother, residing at Greenup;
two grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Effie Booker, St. Louis; two
brothers, Claude and Ott Sheaks, Greenup.
The body was removed to the Barrick & Sullivan Funeral
Home where it remained for services at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. John WR
Sumwalt, DD, will officiate. Burial was made in Mt. Hope Cemetery
