SHARP, Nancy Rene Gates - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Nancy Rene Sharp, 31 of rural Kingman died at her home early Friday morning Sept 24, 1999.  Mrs. Sharp was the alumni records coordinator at Wabash College in Crawfordsville. She was a 1986 graduate of Turkey Run HS and had attended Danville Junior College and Purdue University.  She was a member and a Sunday School teacher at Wallace Christian Church.  She was listed in the book, Who’s Who Among American High School Students.  Born in Danville, Ill on July 14, 1968 she was the daughter of Larry and Judith (Gard) Gates Sr.  On Dec 25, 1987 she married Clifton Sharp.  He survives.  Also surviving are her parents of rural Tangier, a sister, Rhonda Harvey of Dana; two brothers, Randy of Rockville and Larry Jr. of Danville.  At her request, the body was cremated.  There was no visitation or service at the funeral home.  A memorial was held on Sunday at Wallace Christian Church with Rev. Richard Wright officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wallace Christian Church.  Woodrow Funeral Home, Kingman in charge of arrangements.    --- transcribed by  kbz
