ATTICA — Funeral services for William Shaffer, age 90, of Attica, a life resident of Fountain County, who died Thursday night, Dec. 30, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, were held Sunday afternoon at the DeSutter Funeral Home here. He was born March 21, 1875, in Fountain County. He had resided at 906 McDonald St., Attica, for the past 50 years. This was the only serious illness of his life. He was married to Goldie Glover, who survives. He was a member of the Attica Christian Church. He was a retired employee of the Harrison Steel Castings Co. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: one son, Lloyd of Attica; two sisters, Mrs. Bell Simpson and Mrs. Sophia Watts, both of Attica, and four grandchildren. --waw
