SHAFFER, Jennie Robinson - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Veedersburg -- Mrs. Jennie Shaffer, 88, died at 6 a.m. Saturday at the Small Nursing Home in Waynetown. For most of her life she was a resident of Veedersburg. She was born in Montgomery County Oct. 15, 1874 to Lewis and Armilda Mahoney Robinson. She married Wallace Shaffer, who died Jan. 2, 1940. Mrs. Shaffer was a member of the First Christian Church here. She was the last of her family. Survivors include nieces and nephews. Funeral services are to be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fishero Funeral Home, where friends may call. Rev. James Dyson of Veedersburg, assisted by Rev. Clifford Wolfe of Georgetown, Ill., will officiate, and interment will be in Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown.
