SHAFFER, Alberta Fletcher

Mrs. Alberta Shaffer, wife of Howard Shaffer, died late Monday night in a hospital in Lafayette, following the Caesarian birth of a baby boy.
Mrs. Shaffer was born in Veedersburg March 21, 1910. She was the daughter of Glenn and Nellie Haas Fletcher. She spent her early life in Veedersburg but has lived in Lafayette the past several years.
She was married twice, her first husband being Max Campbell. She had two daughters and one son by this marriage.
Howard Shaffer, her two daughters and one son survive. She is the niece of Walter and Roy Haas, of Veedersburg.
Funeral services were held at the Johnson & Henderson Funeral Home in Lafayette Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The body was brought to the Rockville (sic) Cemetery near Veedersburg where there was a brief service at 4 o'clock --- transcribed by kz
