COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) -- Services for Mrs. Mary Hattie Shaff, 92, a former Covington resident who died in Wichita Falls, Tex., at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hegg Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev. James Downey will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today. Mrs. Shaff had lived in Wichita Falls the past 20 years, had been ill three years and seriously ill three months in Wichita General Hospital. Mrs. Shaff was born July 20, 1877 near Covington, the daughter of John and Charity Morris Young. She was married April 6, 1904 to Albert Shaff, who preceded her in death in 1943. Mrs. Shaff was employed as a practical nurse most of her life in Covington. She was a member of the South Side Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, the Royal Neighbors of America in Covington and the B & PW of Covington. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Floyd M. Shelton of Wichita Falls and Mrs. James A. Shores of Dover, N. J.; a son, John I. Shaff of Alexander, Ark.; 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers.   --typed by Walt W
