SHAFF, Albert (Bert)

Albert (Bert) Shaff, 74, died at 9 o'clock Sunday evening at his home in Covington. Death followed a stroke of paralysis suffered a week ago.
He was born Feb 26, 1869, in Wabash Township. Mr. Shaff was the son of Isaac and Helen Dunkerly Shaff.
Mr. Shaff was married April 4, 1904 to Hattie Young who survives, with two daughters, Mrs. Helen Shelton of Wichita Falls, Texas and Mrs. Betty Lou Courtwright of Columbus, Ohio and one son, John Shaff of Houston, Texas. SIx grandsons, one granddaughter and one sister, Mrs. Jennie Huff of Knoxville, Ill also survive.
Services were held at the Crumley Funeral Chapel at 5 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with Rev. OW McGaughey of Veedersburg officiating. Burial was made in Mt. Hope Cemetery. --- transcribed by kbz
