Paul B. Shafer, 73, Danville, Illinois, died at 9:50 p.m. Monday, October 10, at Lakeview Medical Center.
He was born March 14, 1910 in Veedersburg, the son of Walter and Iva Boner Shafer. He married Helen Lois DeHart, who survives. He was a member of Central Christian Church, Olive Branch Masonic Lodge 38 and Good Sam Camping Clubs. He served with the Army in World War II.
Other survivors include a son, Philip of Danville, and a sister, Mrs. Irene Dixon of Waynetown. – thanks to S
