SHADE, William B.

William Shade, 70, who spent most of his life in the vicinity of Hillsboro and Veedersburg died in the hospital at the Masonic Home, Franklin Monday afternoon. He had resided there the past 4 and 1/2 years He was born north of Hillsboro March 7, 1884, the son of Simon and Susan Davis Shade. Member of Hillsboro Masonic Lodge No 385 and of the Low 12 Club of Wallace. He married Gladys Etter of Wallace Feb 9, 1919 and she preceded him in death Nov 24, 1933. Survivors include two sons, Clark, of Crawfordsville and William Jr of Veedersburg; four sisters, Mrs. Virgil C Frazier of Crawfordsville; Mrs. HF French, Indianapolis; Mrs. Arthur King of Covington and Mrs Palmer Krug of Newtown and two granddaus A brother Hiram SHade preceed hi in death. the funeral service was held at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro with the Rev Guy Walters of Mellott officiating and burial in the Ross Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro.
