SEYMOUR, Sharon Stucker

VEEDERSBURG — Sharon l. (Stucker) Seymour, 69, rural Veedersburg, died at 3:02 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2007, in the emergency room of St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. She was born April 16, 1938 in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of Thomas Arnold and Marion Louise (Blaesing) Stucker. She married Rolland J. Seymour Feb. 14, 1957 in the family home in rural Veedersburg. He survives. She had been a resident of Richland Township, in Fountain County, since the age of two, moving there from Detroit. She graduated from Richland Township High School in 1956. She formerly worked at Helgers Gas Company in Mellott and later as a teller for the Hillsboro State Bank. For the past 17 years, she had owned and operated the House of Seymour Herb Shop in downtown Crawfordsville. She was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church in Newtown, National Herb Association and Neighborhood Sewing Club. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening. Survivors, besides the husband, include: a daughter, Dinah (Clarence) Snyder, Crawfordsville; four grandchildren, Neil Snyder, Crawfordsville, Grant (Jamie) Snyder, Linden, Megan Snyder, Carmel, and Drew (Stephanie) Synder, Ashland, Mo., two great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas A. Stucker, Waynetown; and a sister, Susan (Bob) Miller, Crawfordsville. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Maus Funeral Home, Hillsboro, with Pastor Drew Snyder, the grandson, officiating.
