Services for Roscoe Seybold, 81 a Rockville Ind native who was a former president of the Purdue University Alumni Association and retired VP of Westinghouse Electric Corp will be Tuesday in St. Petersburg, Fla. Seybold, alumni present and special consultant to the president of Purdue from 1951-1954 died Thursday in his St. Petersburg home.  He was graduated from Purdue in 1907 with a degree in electrical engineering.  Seybold became controller of Westinghouse in 1931 and VP of finance three years later.  He was elected to the company’s board of directors in 1939.  At Purdue, Seybold was president of his senior class and member of the varsity football team.  He was a member of the Pittsburgh-Purdue Alumni Club and regional director of the Purdue Alumni Association at Pittsburgh.  In 1942, he received an honorary doctoral degree from Purdue.  He was a former director of the Union National Bank of Pittsburgh, past president of the Controllers Institute of America and former president of the Pittsburgh section of the National Association of Cost Accounts. Survivors include the widow Nancy and two sons, Robert J. Seybold, St. Petersburg and William D. Seybold, Eustis, Fla.   – kbz
