ATTICA, Ind. (CNS)—Andrew Thomas Sexton, 72, a resident of 303 E. Washington St., died at Williamsport Community Hospital at 7 p.m. Friday (March 13, 1970). He had been ill for some time. Born at Potomac, Ill., on Feb. 12, 1898, he was the son of Thomas and Lillie Mong Sexton. He had lived most of his life in West Lebanon, Ind., moving to Attica in Sept. 1969. On July 28, 1928, he married Genevieve Cronhrite at West Lebanon. He attended Potomac High School and had worked as a section hand on the Wabash Railroad. Surviving with his wife are one son, Richard of Attica; two daughters, Mrs. Sandra Shonkwiler of Attica and Mrs. Howard (Doris) Easter of West Lebanon; one sister, Mrs. Frank (Grace) Sexton of Attica; one brother, Chester Sexton of West Lebanon, and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, three sisters, one brother and two grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Christian Church at West Lebanon with the Rev. Kenneth Littleford officiating. Burial will be in West Lebanon Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Monday. --typed by Walt W

WEST LEBANON -- Andrew Thomas Sexton, 72, of 303 E. Washington St., Attica, a resident of West Lebanon most of his life, died 7 p.m. Friday at Community Hospital in Williamsport. He had been in Failing health for several years.
He was born at Potomac, Ill., on Feb. 12, 1896, the son of Thomas and Little Mong Sexton. He was married July 28, 1928, at West Lebanon, to Genevieve Cronkhite, who survives. He moved from West Lebanon to Attica in September of 1969. He had attended Potomac High School and was a section hand on the Wabash Railroad most of his life.
Also surviving are one son, Richard Sexton, Attica; two daughter, Mrs. Howard (Doris) Easter, West Lebanon; one sister, Mrs. Grace Sexton; one brother, Chester Sexton, West Lebanon. He was preceded in death by two daughters, three sisters, one brother and two grandchildren. Ten grandchildren also survive.
Friends will be received at DeSutter Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held in the West Lebanon Christian Church 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Kenneth Littleford officiating. The body will lie in state on hour prior to services. Interment will follow in West Lebanon Cemetery.

Funeral services for Andrew Thomas Sexton, 72, 303 Washington St., Attica, who died at Community Hospital, Friday, march 13, 7 p.m. were held at West Lebanon Christian Church, Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.; with Rev. Kennethg Littleford officiating. "The old Rugged Cross" and "In the Garden" were played on the organ by Mrs. Jack Dye.
Those who served as pallbearers were Dallas Cleveland, Russell Shonkwiler Sr., Russell Shonkwiler Jr., Nelson Cooper, Lloyd McGowan, and Delano Gilliland. Interment followed in the West Lebanon Cemetery with DeSutter Funeral Home in charge.
