SEWELL, Charles William

Charles William Sewell, 62, died in the Veedersburg business district at 5 p.m. Tuesday following a heart attack.  Born in Jackson County in 1892, he was a retired farmer and grain elevator employee.  He was married to Opal Collon and moved to Veedersburg 10 years ago.  Surviving besides the widow are five daughters: Mrs. Malcolm Erwin, Waveland; Mrs. Harold Stockdale, Brookston; ;Mrs. Bill Reed, Mrs. William Crumley and Miss Barbara Sewelll all of Indianapolis; one sister, Mrs. Harold Wiseback of Terre Haute and three brothers, John, Edward and Harry of Terre Haute.  The body was removed to the Crumley Funeral Home in charge. – kbz
