ROCKVILLE — William Clayton (Clayt) Seward, age 68, of Rockville, died at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16. He was a native of Indianapolis, born April 11, 1901, the son of Harvey and Hannah Nevins Seward. He lived in the Scott's Prairie community, Kingman Rt. 1, from Sept. 1942 to Sept. 1966, when he returned to this area to be near his family. He was never married. He was a retired laborer and a member of the New Discovery Baptist Church. Surviving are: three sisters, Mrs. Pamie Martin and Mrs. Lillian Vlasos, both of 605 East Ohio St., Rockville, and Mrs. Alice Thompson of Hemet, Calif., and nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 19, at 10 a.m. at the Barnes Funeral Home in Rockville. The Rev. Philip Robinson officiated and burial was in the Old Rockville Cemetery. --waw
