Joseph SEVER, a brother-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. EH Marlatt, Mrs. Newman Russell and Miss Eliza Merideth of this city died Saturday at his home in Milford, Ill.  Mr. Sever had been afflicted for several years with liver trouble but the immediate cause of death was bronchial pneumonia.  The deceased was 76 years old and besides the wife is survived by two sons, Hooper Sever who resides near Milford and Aaron Sever who resides near Sheldon, Ill.  Mr. Sever was well known to a number of Attica people, having visited relatives here on numerous occasions. The funeral was conducted at 2:30 o’clock from Sugar Creek Chapel, five miles east of Milford, Rev. Smiley of Boswell officiating. Burial was made in the cemetery near the church.
