Sharon Marie Servies, 71, of Danville, formerly of Crawfordsville, Ind., passed this world on Saturday, April 26, 2008, with her daughter at her side. Sharon was born Oct. 19, 1936, to Charles Kenneth Goodwin Lamb and Flossie Elva Brown Lamb. Her parents preceded her to heaven. She was welcomed into this world by her brother, Ben of Indiana and sister, Carolyn Schroeder of Arizona. They both survive. She married Marvin Dale Servies on April 26, 1953, in Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death on Feb. 21, 1996. Their union gave Sharon her greatest joys, a son, Michael Dale Servies (Sheree) of Crawfordsville, the late Marnetta Dale Servies, Mellanie Dale Servies Warren (Melvin) of Crawfordsville, and Marcella Dale Noel (Kelly) of Danville. She was blessed with beautiful grandsons, Sean Servies Abney, Marcus Johnson, Jeremie Servies, Shannon Servies, Michael Servies, K C Noel, Kenzie Noel, and Jarod Noel. She has three great-grandchildren, Marvin, Nathanial, and Aleah. Also joining the family are stepgrandchildren Allen Warren (Jennifer), Waveland, Ind.. and Danielle Dildine (Matt) of Crawfordsville and their children Cadience, Lane and Bryleigh. Also Shawn Glass and Misty Glass of Ca. and her daughters, Trystin and Trinity Glass of Arizona. Sharon's life revolved around her family. She shared in farming in the Crawfordsville area most of her life. She spent most of her summers supporting the family in their 4-H endeavors. She enjoyed running a paper route and working at Meadow Gold Dairy. She also worked at a service station as a manager. Her pets also helped keep her life bright. She leaves behind her two cats, Peaches and Pilsher. As per Sharon's request, a Celebration of Life will be from 4-8 p.m. EDT Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at the Sunset Covington Chapel in Covington, Ind., when the family will receive friends.
