George L. Sentman, son of Amos and Nancy Lang Sentman, was born January 3, 1872 at Stone Bluff, Indiana and departed this life at 1:20 p.m. November 25, 1948 at the age of 76 years, 10 months 22 days. He was united in marriage on November 25, 1905, to Inga Daneilson of Minnesota and to this union three children were born: Edgar, Lawrence and Olive May. Olive May Sentman died November 12, 1912. Hi first wife died January 17, 1915. On March 14 1916, he was united in marriage to Miss Eleanor Jane Bogart, who survives him. They took a foster daughter, Mrs. Jennie Reynolds Maltsberger. He had four brothers, Charles, Orville, Edgar and Colonel, all of whom have preceded him in death. He also had four sisters, Eleanor, Grace, Emma and Katie. Katie survives him. He lived in this community all his life, with the exception of 10 years, he spent in North Dakota. He united with the Osborn Prairie Church on confession f faith during young manhood. He served the church faithfully in its various functions. He leaves to mourn his departure besides the widow, two sons, and foster daughter, one sister, three grandchildren, Marlin Maltsberger, Orville and Janet Sentman and a host of friends and relatives. --- transcribed by kbz
