Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Ura Seeger, age 75, one of the West Lebanon community's most prominent citizens, died at North Shores Hospital in Miami, Fla., Sunday, Dec. 18, as the result of injuries received in a traffic accident just one week earlier. His wife, Frances, remains in critical condition in the same hospital. Mr. Seeger, a retired grain broker and elevator operator, was widely known for his philanthropies. He gave $262,000 toward building the Seeger Memorial High School at West Lebanon. He also donated a library to Milligan College at Johnson City, Tenn. For a number of years he had been a trustee of the college. Mr. Seeger also donated the land for the Christian Church Camp near West Lebanon and had assisted a number of Christian churches in the area. He was a director of the Standard Life Insurance at Indianapolis. For 16 years, Mr. Seeger served as 6th District Democratic chairman and had been an active party worker. He also was a former state senator. Mr. Seeger was married to Frances Curtis of Monon in 1957. The only other survivors is a nephew, Kenneth Miller of Pence, who was reared in the Seeger home. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Seeger Memorial School at West Lebanon. Burial will be in the West Lebanon Cemetery.   --typed by Walt W
