Mrs. Myra Jeanette Scott, 58, a life resident of Danville until four years ago, died at 1:10 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 2, 1968) in Lake View Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient one day. Mrs. Scott had been in ill health for four years and during this time had made her home with a sister, Mrs. Elinor Clore of Veedersburg, Ind. Route 1. Born July 24, 1910 in Danville, she was the daughter of William and Lenor Sheffer Hannah. She was married in 1944 to Harold Scott. He died in 1962. Mrs. Scott had been employed by Deutsch Uptown for 20 years before her illness and had made her home in Danville at 107 W. Voorhees. Survivors include a brother, Roscoe Hannah of Danville; a sister of Veedersburg, Ind. Route 1; two step-sons, Richard Scott of Barrington and William Scott of Indianapolis, Ind., and four grandchildren. A brother, Dode, and a sister, Mrs. Ruth White, also preceded her in death. Mrs. Scott was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Danville. The body is at Edmund-Jones-Sullivan Funeral Chapel where visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Oliver Starn will officiate, with burial in Spring Hill Cemetery. --waw
