Dr. Frank Scott of Oxford was in Attica last evening on his way to Quincy, Ill from which place he had received a message yesterday saying that his brother Leroy Scott had died. The brother was born at Newtown in 1849 but had lived at Quincy for many years. The Dr. did not know just when or where Leroy would be buried but thought it would be at Quincy as he had lived there for so long. Leroy Scott was a veteran of Co H of the 72nd Indiana and was one of the youngest men in the service.
