Emory H. Scott, a well known Oxford man died at his home in that town Friday evening at 8 o’clock following a severe electrical shock.  In turning on an electric light in his garage.  Mr. Scott came in contact in some manner with a live wire, the current passing through his body. Drs. Parker, Bloom and Lee were immediately summoned but were unable to save his life, death coming shortly.  Ivan Barrett, who was with the unfortunate man was also shocked by the current sustain burns on both feet.  He will recover. Mr. Scott who was 36 years old, fell from a windmill about two years ago and broke both legs just above the ankles. The community was shocked by the latest tragedy.  Surviving are the widow and four children: Lloyd, Fern, Dorothy and Ruth Myrl. The funeral was held Monday morning.
