Mrs. Elmira Scott died Sunday morning at her home on a farm near Osgood (smudged) where she had lived for 60 years. Death was caused by (smudged). She was born Nov 1, 1839 (smudged)and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stacy Baley of New Jersey who later moved to Indiana. She married Hugh M. Scott in 1859 (smudged). To this union six children were born, she leaves two sons Stacy and John and two brothers, John and Allen of ? Ind and two sisters, Mrs. Barnet of Lithonia >? Neb and Mrs. Mary Luag of Warsaw, Ind. The Funeral was conducted from the home of her son Stacy in Oxford Wed morning at 11 o’clock, Rev. Charles Shumaker officiating and burial was made in the Gilboa cemetery. - kbz
