Veedersburg—Charles Scott, 79, died at 6 o’clock Sunday morning at the Lewellen Nursing home in Eaton, Ind., where he had been a patient since April 13. Born Sept. 14, 1867 at Georgetown, Ill., he was the son of William and Elizah Switzer Scott. He never married and was employed in the construction department of the Nickel Plate Railroad. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Fishero Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rockfield. Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. – thanks to S&E
