Newtown -- Horace S. Schultz, age 82, a retired farmer of Newtown, died at 2:30 a.m. Monday, March 25, in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville where he had been a patient since March 7. Mr. Schultz was a life resident of the Newtown area. Born Sept. 12, 1880, near Newtown, he was a son of Thomas and Clara Gray Schultz. He was married Sept. 1, 1910 to Abigail McCauley who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Sarah Mitchell of Newtown; two brothers, Murray and Thomas C. of Newtown; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday at the Crumley Funeral Home at Hillsboro. The Rev. Peter Hamstra officiated. Burial was in the Newtown Cemetery. --typed by Walt W
