Mrs. Ethel Schmidt, former Attica resident, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 1978, at Miami, Florida. Funeral services were held in Miami on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schmidt were Attica residents for many years, moving to Florida with their family in 1949. Mr. Schmidt will be remembered by local residents as an independent contractor who built several homes in Attica. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Schmidt was a member of Attica First Methodist Church and was active in Eastern Star. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Wes (Jo) Ford of Miami; three children, Bill Schmidt, Velma Jean Sullivan, both of Florida; and Mrs. Charles (Patsy) Curry, with whom she resided. Her daughter’s address is Mr. and, Mrs. Charles Curry, 1429 S. W. 15th Street, Miami, Fla. 33145. -– jlr
