Erma Scheidler, 78, of Rt. 7, Greensburg, Ind., died Jan. 17 in Memorial Hospital, Greensburg. She had been in failing health several years and serious three months. She was born July 3, 1890 in Kansas, the daughter of David I. and Flora Green Thomas. She was married to William I. Scheidler December 5, 1915 in Attica. He preceded her in death March 25, 1968. He was general manager of Public Telephone Company at Greensburg. They had resided their since 1923. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Greensburg. Surviving are one grandson, William Rondeau and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Laugel officiating. Entombment was in South Park Mausoleum with Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in charge. -– jlr
