SCHEIDLER, Cecelia (Sadie) - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Attica – Requiem Mass was held at 10 a.m. Saturday Sept 7 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church here for Mrs. Cecelia M. (Sadie) Scheidler, age 82 who died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette.  The Rev. Charles Remaklus officiated and burial was in the Catholic Cemetery, Attica.  Mrs. Scheidler, who has been a patient in the hospital three weeks, had been in ill health for 20 years.  She was born June 19, 1866 at Millhousen, Ind in Decatur County.  She had resided in Cincinnati, Ohio and Indianapolis for several years. She was married May 10, 1910 at Millhousen to Benno M. Scheidler who survives. Following her marriage, they moved to Attica. She was one of 12 children and she was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband and one brother, UG Redelman of Indianapolis.   – kbz
