Thomas R. Sayers, 58, a former resident of Covington, died Friday, July 7, at Community Hospital in Indianapolis. The son of the late Thomas and Marguerite Sayers of Covington, Mr. Sayers had lived in Indianapolis for many years prior to his death, and had been employed at International Harvester there for 30 years. Survivors include his wife, Emily, four sons, one daughter, and 16 grandchildren; and three sisters, all formerly of Covington, Mrs. Louise Clem of Indianapolis, Mrs. Ruth Bombly of Saugatuck, Mich., and Mrs. Margaret Eldridge of Denver, Colo. -– jlr
