SAVOLDI, Hilda Elliott - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

  Hilda M. Savoldi of Crawfordsville, age 77, died Saturday morning, June 25, in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. She was born in Westville, Illinois, December 27, 1905, the daughter of Virgil H. and Margaret H. Booher Elliott. July 12, 1922, she married Angelo Savoldi, who died April 3, 1976. Mrs. Savoldi was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Crawfordsville.

  Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Parker Sibert of Belleville, Illinois, and Faye Arnett of Warsaw; five sons, Pete of Lafayette, James of Rensselaer, William of Austin, Texas, John of Danville and Thomas of Crawfordsville; three sisters, Ruby Parr of Kingman, Garnet Kocurek of Westville, Illinois, and Madeline Hobson of Lafayette; three brothers, Theodore Elliott of Fairview, Illinois, Vernon and Allen Elliott, both of Westville; 23 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Crawfordsville with burial in Calvary Cemetery north of Crawfordsville. – thanks to S
