West Lebanon—Marie P. Potter Sargent, 83, Route 1, West Lebanon, died at 2:07 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, 1989 in her home.
  She was born June 6, 1905 in State Line, the daughter of Benjamin F. and Anna A. Auburn Potter. She had lived in the Warren County, West Lebanon area most of her life and had resided in Indianapolis from 1941-45. She was married in September 1931 to Gerald William Sargent, who preceded her in death Oct. 17, 1945.
  She was a cook at Marshfield school and Hick’s Plaza for several years. She was a member of Marshfield Presbyterian Church.
  Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Peggy) Branson, West Lebanon; two sons, William G. and Robert C., both of West Lebanon; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Laurel Potter, one grandson and one great grandson.
  There will be no visitation. Funeral services for the family will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fisher Funeral Home, West Lebanon, with burial in West Lebanon Cemetery.- thanks to S
