Veedersburg—Mrs. Pearley Estelle Robbins Sandlin, 58, of 203 N. Sherman, died Wednesday, Jan. 10 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. She had been a patient a week and had been ill for two years.
  Born Oct. 25, 1914, in Sumiton, Ala., she was the daughter of Jessie and Ozella Ellmore Robbins. She was married to Olin Sandlin Oct. 14, 1933, who survives.
  She had worked at Radio Materials Corp. in Attica and was a member of the Veedersburg Church of God.
  Survivors include two sons, Odell of Attica and Terry of Justice, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Vera Pickett and Mrs. Glenda McClure, both of Veedersburg; four brothers, John Robbins of West Lebanon, Charles Robbins Jr. of Danville, Paul Robbins of Willow Springs, Ill., and Bob Robbins of Guntersville, Ala.; six sisters, Mrs. Ruby McLeod of Wilmer, Ala., Mrs. Ruth Self of Semmes, Ala., Mrs. Doris Parker of Bridgeview, Ill., Mrs. Lois Ownes of Scottsboro, Ala., Mrs. Jessie Mae Ivy of Guntersville and Mrs. Essie Mae Campbell of Dora, Ala.; and 12 grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by two brothers.
  Services were 2 p.m. EST Sunday at the Sterling Church of God, with the Rev. C. E. Swenson officiating. Burial was in Osborn Prairie Cemetery. – thanks so very much to “S”
