SANDERS, Vernon O. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon for Vern O. SANDERS, who died at his home here Wed night at 8:45. The services were held at the United Brethren Church with Rev. Lashbrook officiating. Mr. Sanders death was caused by a stroke of apoplexy he suffered Wed while working on the new home of Edgar Smith near Yeddo. He had suffered a light stroke two yeaers ago The deceased was born in NC in 1882, the son of Joseph Ellen J. Sanders. His marriage to Elizabeth Parks took place many years ago. The survivors include the wife, two sons, Carl at home and Parke of Indianapolis; two brothers, Fay B. Sanders of Kingman and Virhil H. Sanders of Kingman and a sister Mrs. Vivian Curry of Indianapolis.
