SANDERS, Scotty - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Kingman—Scotty Joe Sanders, a 4-month-old son of Joseph Earl and Brenda Colbert Sanders of Kingman Route 1, died at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 1974 en route to a hospital. Fountain County Coroner Dr. Walter Kinser said that death was attributed to bronchial pneumonia.

The infant was born Mary 25, 1974 at Danville, Ill.

Survivors include his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Colbert of Kingman Route 1; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Betty Nelson of Kingman Route 1; paternal step grandfather, Clyde Nelson of Kingman Route 1; and maternal great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Colbert and Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Lightye, both of Veedersburg.

Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington, with the Rev. John Lamb officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery at Covington.-s
