SANDERS, Mary Ephlin Ratcliff - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Kingman - Mrs. Mary D. Sanders, 90, died Saturday afternoon in Culver Hospital. She had been a patient 7 weeks. Mrs. Sanders was a member of the Kingman United Methodist Church, the Ladies' Aid Society, Kingman Chapter of OES, Kingman Women's Club and former member of Daughters of Union Veterans, Mary C. Smith Tent 35. Mrs. Sanders was born Feb 29, 1880 to William and Semiara Lindley Ephlin in Harveysburg. In 1906 she married Edmon B. Ratcliff who died in 1911. She married Vergil H. Sanders Sept 4, 1918. Survivors include the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Doris Aichhorn of Indianpaolis; two sons, Ross Ratcliff of Kingman and Ralph Ratcliff of Belmont, Calif; 5 grandsons and 8 great grandsons. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 3 sisters and a great grandson. Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Woodrow Funeral Home at Kingman with Rev. Luther Page officiating. Internment will be in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.   --kbz
