SANDERS, Jay - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Jay Sanders, age 52, passed away about 5 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at his home after about 3 months illness. He was the son of Joe and Ellen Sanders  In 1936 he was married to Avenella Drollinger.  To this union one son Joe was born. Left to mourn his loss is his wife and six year old son Joe A brother, Virgil, a sister Mrs. Vivian Curry of Indianapolis, a number of other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Vern and Calvin.  Funeral services were held Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at the Christian Church with Rev. OW McGahley, officiating, assisted by the church pastor.  Music was furnished by the following, Paul and William Young, Ross Ratcliff and HE Gardner. Masonic Ritualistic rites were also given.
