SAMUELS, Alan Keith

Alan Keith Samuels, 53, of
Covington, died at 10:20 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 1996 at Carle Foundation
Hospital in Urbana, Ill. He was born March 4, 1943, in Indianapolis, the son of
Charles F. and Letha D. (Bennett) Samuels. He was formerly married to Lynda C.
Samuels. She survives. Also surviving, are: two daughters, Tina (Mrs. Rusty)
Sellars of Mooresville, and Sherri Samuels of Covington; one son, Alan Keith
Samuels Jr. of Shaw Air Force Base, S.C.; one brother, Charles Reid Samuels of
Wimauma, Fla.; one sister, Pamela A. Youngblood of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one
stepbrother, Eugene W. Fullen in Oregon; and nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his parents and one son, Charles Alan “Sam” Samuels. Alan
had been a resident of the Covington area since 1984, moving there from
Danville. He was a truck driver for Wal-Mart for the past four years and a
member of the NRA. Visitation was Saturday at Shelby Funeral Home in Covington
and Sunday at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Home in Indianapolis. Service
Monday at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Home, 1604 W. Morris St.,
Indianapolis. Interment in Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis. – jlr
